Northstar Celebrates our 5th Year Anniversary

Northstar started on March 17th 2006.  It’s hard to believe that five years have passed and even more challenging to consider all of the work that we have accomplished in those five years.  

We have completed 18 design-build projects for  five clients; the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Oklahoma Military Department,  the Wyoming School Facilities Commission and the Los Angeles Unified School District.  Our commitment to the environment is present in that all of our projects are LEED Silver or above and two are LEED Platinum and Zero Net Energy.

There are many clients, people, public agencies, and team partners that have contributed to our success and evolution as a business.  We deeply appreciate the faith and trust you have placed in our firm and we thank you for being a part of our team!

SAME Sustainable Roundtable

I have been invited to participate in the  Society of American Military Engineers Sustainable Installations Round Table on March 24th 2011 in Washington DC.   I am excited to talk about my two projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and even more excited to learn from everyone else!

Also that week I will be meeting with the Baltimore District of the Corps of Engineers, attending the DOD and Federal Program Briefings, going to the Academy of Fellows events and meeting with the Washington DC Mayor’s Office to talk about performance based design-build. Should be a great week!
