Northstar’s role on this project:

Northstar was selected as the design-build owner’s representative for this world class project. The RSF II is a North Wing Addition to the RSF I We are providing design-build owner’s representation for this project and for a $6.75 million Café for this important, ground breaking project. The project is LEED Platinum and will be Zero Net Energy, achieving Executive Order 13514 – 20 years ahead of schedule.

On the Boards
The project is performance based, fast tracked design-build. We have Final Design and are approximately 40% complete with construction as of March 2011.

While this is an addition to the RSF I project the design-build team has been able to capture an additional 13% energy savings to improve the buildings performance.

The project will be finished by December 2011 with occupancy beginning in 2012.
