Design-Build Criteria Consulting
The most critical aspect to a successful design-build project is the performance specifications. We work closely with our client to in developing measureable performance requirements and creating custom well defined documents such as the Request for Qualifications, Request for Proposal, design and construction procedures suited to performance based design-build.
Design-Build Owner’s Representation
After contract award, the highest risk to any design-build projects is the first five months of design. During this time the design-builder must meet all of the owner’s performance criteria while maintain the budget and schedule. Our proven expertise ensures that our client’s projects are successfully executed and delivered utilizing traditional as well as innovative project management principles.
Design-Build Workshops
Northstar offers a 2 ½ day workshop on performance based design-build, plus custom workshop for our clients. We have taught seventeen workshops for the Design-Build Institute of America and fourteen workshops for the Society of American Military Engineers. Our President, Leandra Thompson, is an accomplished, highly rated speaker and author.
